Hour of Code, Solar System
This afternoon, we used emojis to pair us up in partners. We then searched for our partners and that person was going to be who we were going to work with in the afternoon. My partner was Hannah Booth. Our job was to create the solar system with the website, Tynker, and make the planets orbit around with their name and information. Here's our project:

Product Designer
My role in my business is Product Designer. The business I’m working with is Rezner Ramps. I design the product of the business I work in and others. My role is very important because Product Designers actually design more than the product. They have to design the brand, the brand name, the business logo, the business name…. This is my role.
I work together and communicate with others in my business to create the perfect masterpiece design. Even if I finish designing the product, I can also help with creating my own design. If there are other designers in my group, I need to work together with them to get their opinions too.
A main skill I need for this particular role is thinking flexibly. I need to have a very open mind so I can have lots of ideas. Most Product Designers have experience in their job or has a hobby that includes what they do in their business. That way, they can judge and compare their designs. Product designers should know how to create a good design and if they don’t, they need to learn it. Product designers should also be able to speak confidently so they can explain their design and why the business should use it. They need to be able to work well with others and understand them so the Product designer can add their preference into their design.

I was literally jumping in my seat as I selected the new version of Minecraft PC.
My name is Autumn Bellerose.
My character had pale skin and crystal blue eyes.
It had bright, short blue hair unlike my strange copper medium length hair in real life.
I had black and electric green headphones and I was wearing a black T-Shirt with grey pants.
My username is FallynA36896.
I have 2 best friends that are the bestest friends ever!
My 1st friend’s name is Junar Rezolux.
Her username is Rozeta8228.
Her skin has blonde hair with a black headband, her character is wearing a black T-Shirt, black pants, and sneakers.
My 2nd friend’s name is Alyssa Breeze.
Her username is Vanilla2.
Her character is wearing a flowy white dress with navy boots.
She had her shiny black hair is a pretty braid.
You can probably already guess she’s one of those ‘girly girls’.
But unlike my friends, I had been chosen for the Minecraft pre-testing and only 1,000 people in the whole entire world get picked.
Looks like I was super lucky.
And so I had experience while my friends were playing for their first time.
I hope they like it.
“Ok, are you ready guys?”
Junar asked.
My friends and I were FaceTiming while I was uploading Minecraft.
“Mine is downloaded already. What about you, Autumn?”
Said Alyssa.
“Mine’s done. We can continue.
I told them.
“Let’s do this!”
I nod my head.
We all put on our headphones and the computer starts loading.
“5… 4… ”
We started counting down the seconds.
“3… 2… 1…”
“START!”
We all yelled, pressing Enter at the same time.
I heard a strange whooshing sound like when you’re flying through the sky at a very high speed; not than any of you have ever experienced it.
I suddenly felt nauseous then I blacked out.

My Family In Vietnam
My cousin, Sau ran around the house chasing my brother, Nam, as they fired nerf bullets at each other. Sau had visited NZ before, though it was a year ago. Aunt Mai was scolding the 2 boys for running around in the house but who blames them? It’s like 45-60 degrees outside.
Uncle Tai ushered all of us in the car as we drove to the hospital. Even if we already spent 2 days here, the road and driver seat swap was still strange for us.
We arrived at the hospital and I exited out into the burning hot air. Did I mention it was really polluted?
Floor 5 was the floor my grandma’s hospital room was in. I opened the door and took a deep breathe of the cool conditioned air. Grandma greeted me in Vietnamese. I felt really bad at how frail she looked even though it wasn’t my fault. There was an IV cable plastered on Grandma’s hand and it was connected to the drip bag. We talked for a bit and then left. That was my grandma and also the reason our family went to Vietnam.
Day 4
“Hello Sa!” My other grandma said in poor english. Meet other Grandma and Grandpa, my dad’s parents. Grandma used to email me, telling me stories or sometimes just to say hello. Granpa… Well, we don’t really get in touch that often so I’m not too close to him.
This is my family in Vietnam. I’ve got more relatives but I didn’t visit many of them. We stayed there for 4 more weeks and had a lot of fun. Sometimes it was a bit boring.

Camp Green Pastures Kayaking😃
Splash! Lachie cannon-balled into the clear waters of the beautiful lake surrounded by nature. I looked across the water. It looked cold today. 'Brrr!" I said at the thought of falling into the icy water. Anyone in their right mind would not want to fall in. Except that doesn’t apply to one of my team members, Lachie. I’m pretty sure he was going to spent more of his time in the water rather than on his kayak.
I sat down in my slim, yellow plane-shaped kayak as it bobbed up and down. After a while, I got used to the gentle movements. I lifted my paddle and started pushing it through the water smoothly like the parents showed me. My boat glided through the water with each stroke.
I soon got the hang of it and as soon as I knew it, I was in a line to race Mrs Liddell, Duncan and another teammate, Tom. I came last but it was fun to race against pros. I looked over at my teammates. Emily was yelling at Mrs Liddell because that cheeky teacher had stolen her paddle. Haha. I was having so much fun, figuring out ways to do little tricks, that I never wanted to stop. But sadly, before long, the honker boomed through the whole camp to announce the next rotation.

Dear Golden Fresh,
Hi! My name is Sa Ngo and I am a student from CSNS that participated in the school triathlon. Your speech was amazing and I would like to thank you for sponsoring our triathlon. I loved the apples and the little bottle was super cute! I am also one of the people that won a spot prize. I am really glad that I chose the swimming bag and I am now using it in my weekly swimming classes.
Thank you so much for the snacks and refreshments. It was amazingly delicious and I wished I had another packet of apples. But of course I know that I can’t be greedy! Thank you also for setting up the competition for more sports gear for our school. I want to help the school as much as I can but while eating those irresistible apple slices. Do you have your own farm of apple trees?
The triathlon this year was a really awesome experience! I had so much fun and you guys just made it better! As a Year 6, this will be my last CSNS school triathlon. Thank you so much for making it the best one. Next year I am going to Intermediate but I will always remember my teachers who taught me lots and the people who helped the school.
Thank you for making this year, my best year at CSNS.
Sincerely Yours,
Sa Ngo

Waves Of Dizzyness
It was the 31st of December. The Summer Holidays. I looked at the time. 6:23. “Shushhh!!!” Dad whispered. I got up, dressed and crept quietly past Nam’s sleeping form. Yum, Waffles! I gobbled my breakfast and went into the bathroom. Some minutes later, I emerged into the living room. We hopped into the car with Nam still asleep and after like a few minutes (more like 2 hours) we arrived at Wellington. We drove over to the docking area and boarded the huge ship. When the boat left the dock, it was calm and I was fine.
Until it started moving faster.
A wave of dizziness cast itself over me. I felt sick to the core. Outside I heard wind rushing by and that made it even worse. I told my parents and my dad tried to distract me. We went outside and the wind twirled my hair into a tangled mess. The propellers of the engine came at an amazing speed under the water. Foam bubbled it’s way onto the surface and I noticed it left a slight trail behind us. I could see way back in the North part of NZ. I looked forward and saw the silhouette of the huge mountains way up ahead.
My dad and I went back inside. “Are you hungry?” He asked me. “Uhh, a little bit” I answered. We made our way to the food court area. “Hmm” I thought out loud. “I’ll have an egg and bacon pie, and a cup of hot chocolate please” I ordered. “And I will have one of these sandwiches” My dad continued. The counter waitress handed us one of those sticks with a number. “It will be delivered to your table in a few minutes” She replied politely. We chose a table by the window (which was very hard
because it was so crowded) and some minutes later the waitress came with our food. I finished the delicious piece of pie and drank my hot chocolate.
Suddenly a voice came over the speakers. “WE WILL ARRIVE AT OUR DESTINATION IN A FEW MINUTES. PLEASE RETURN TO A SEAT AND BUCKLE YOUR SEATBELTS UNTIL WE ARRIVE”. Everyone rushed to their seats and my dad and i had to struggle through the crowd. My mum and Nam were already there. Out through the window an island came into view.
Finally we were at the South Island.
